I found this great vintage-looking turtleneck with a belt. I matched it with ankle-length capris and a pair of brown pumps. The turtleneck was from Goodwill, the capris were from a yard sale, and the pumps were purchased for a job interview I had over 9 years ago. I don’t think I’ve worn the pumps since that interview, but I am glad I kept them, because I think they really pull this outfit together.

What’s the oldest thing in your closet? Do you still wear it? Photo: Marjie Nye
The oldest thing in my closet is a white, button-up shirt that belonged to my grandfather before I got it from my closet, when I was a senior in high school, which is a long time ago now. I keep it for sentimentality rather than to wear though. It has a golf patch on the breast pocket and I can never think of a place where I want to wear a dress shirt with a golf patch!
