Are you taller than a 5th grader?

I’m not. I’m only 4’ 10”. I share shoes and sweaters with my daughter. She is 10. So, finding pants and jeans is no easy task. However, I seem to have better luck finding petite sizes in thrift stores than in commercial retail stores. If you’re short like me, look out for these brands: Gap (ankle), Bullhead Denim (short), and 2BW/U.
