As fresh as a daisy

Today, I thought I would share with you my Easter outfit. With the go-to colors of Easter (lavender, pink, yellow) and a closet full of none of them, I find myself in a quandary ever year.
A not-so-well-organized closet full of dark colors and earth tones.
But, this year, I found inspiration from a bottle:
"Daisy" by Marc Jacobs
Daisies might not be a typical symbol of spring like the crocus or the daffodil, but they are fresh and pretty. So, I decided to wear this dress, which I bought at Goodwill last year. I love the cut and the pattern of this dress, and even though I knew I would never wear it by itself (I don't do strapless), I bought it anyway.
A-line dress: $5.99 (Goodwill)
I wore it with a cap-sleeve t-shirt, a black cardigan, and bright yellow tights.

I like this look because it's fresh and crisp and the yellow tights add that splash of spring that every Easter outfit requires.

Hope you all had a happy Easter!

  1. Very nice outfits! How do you it? :-) I love these creative combinations. Who would have thought to put a shirt with a sleeveless dress? Looks great!
