Never pass up a classic

My good friend, Gina, looks adorable in this sleeveless classic from H&M.

However, she didn't pay full-price for this pretty piece. Gina shares my love of thrift stores. So, when I told her how great she looked, she had to tell me what a steal it was. She got this dress, along with a few other items, including a GAP jean jacket for only $5.00 at "Little Bits & Things", a relatively new thrift store in Staten Island, New York. 

She says, "When I saw the dress, I immediately thought it would be perfect to wear to work, as it was concealing enough and classy." And, that's the beauty of a timeless classic. You can dress it up with pumps and black pearls for a sophisticated, professional look. Or, you can mix it with tall boots, a chunky necklace, and some bright tights for a fun, hip twist.
