Thanksgiving attire

We just celebrated Thanksgiving here, and I love Thanksgiving because I don't have to cook! I am married to a professional chef who starts preparing the feast 3 days in advance, which I find funny, because we've never had more than 8 people at our table. I am not complaining. I am actually quite thankful for my husband and his cooking skills. He gives me the chance to enjoy a relatively stress-free holiday. I have the job of getting the house in order, and he does everything else.

Once my job is done, I get myself ready. Because we don't go anywhere, I don't feel like I have to dress up, but it's not like Christmas morning, when you can sit around in your pajamas all day. So, every year, I agonize over what to wear to "the dining area" with my husband, my kids, and my parents. (Not so ironically, none of them care what I wear.) I refuse to wear anything stretchy because that's just like giving myself a free pass to overindulge. This year, I wore something similar to this outfit:

But, instead of the jacket, I went for a more casual look with this cardigan:
Tan cardigan: $4.99 (Goodwill)
Orange tee: $3.99 (Goodwill)
DKNY jeans: $9.99 (Hidden Gems Consignment Store)
Were you a host or a guest at your holiday gathering? How did you celebrate? Most importantly, what did you wear?
