I never even realized it until some of my co-workers commented on how it seems like I have a pair of shoes for every outfit. So, I went home and did a quick count... and I am embarrassed to say... I have over 50 pairs. Insane, right? Well, don’t be so quick to judge. I never buy shoes at retail. And, it’s a good thing, because lately, I buy the shoes first, and then create an outfit around it, like this one:

Let's see: 2 pairs of black dress shoes (need replacing), 2 pairs of brown casual shoes (need replacing), 2 pairs of tennis shoes (one still good), 1 pair of black casual shoes (still good), 1 pair of winter boots, 1 pair of garden loafers, and 3 pairs of flip flops = 12.
